Celluerase
CelluErase is an advanced, minimally invasive treatment designed to target and release stubborn cellulite. Unlike creams or surface-level treatments, it works directly beneath the skin to break down the fibrous bands that cause the dimpled, uneven appearance.

What is Celluerase?
CelluErase uses a specially designed microblade to carefully divide the connective tissue bands under the skin that pull it downward and create cellulite dimples. By releasing these bands, the skin can smooth out, reducing the “orange peel” effect and restoring a more even texture.
What It’s Used For
Reducing the appearance of cellulite
Treating dimpled or uneven skin (commonly on thighs, buttocks, and hips)
Improving skin texture and smoothness
Boosting confidence by targeting one of the most stubborn aesthetic concerns
What's our process?
Step 1
At Enhance Clinispa in Bolton, your Celluerase journey starts with a medical consultation with Dr Fab. Your concerns and target areas (most commonly thighs and buttocks) are assessed, and Dr Fab will check your medical history and confirm you’re suitable for treatment. Celluerase is designed for cellulite dimpling caused by fibrous bands under the skin, so the consultation also focuses on whether your cellulite type is likely to respond well.
Step 2
In the lead-up to your appointment, you’ll be advised to reduce anything that increases the risk of bruising and to arrive prepared for a body-area procedure. It’s also sensible to avoid sunbeds or excessive sun exposure beforehand and to wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing to change into after treatment, especially if your thighs or buttocks are being treated. Dr Fab will also talk you through what to expect with local anaesthetic and the treatment plan for your specific dimples.
Step 3
On the day, the area is cleaned and marked, and local anaesthetic is used to numb the treatment zone for comfort. Celluerase is a minimally invasive technique that uses a specialised microblade to release the fibrous connective tissue bands that tether the skin down and create dimples, allowing the surface to spring back smoother. The procedure commonly takes up to around an hour depending on the number of dimples treated.
Step 4
After Celluerase, mild swelling, tenderness and bruising are normal, and bruising can last from several days to a few weeks depending on the area and your skin. You’ll usually be asked to avoid strenuous exercise and heavy sweating for around 48 hours, avoid heat treatments like saunas/steam rooms for a short period, and limit direct sun exposure while the area heals to reduce the chance of pigmentation. Results may continue to improve as healing settles, and many providers describe outcomes as long-lasting because the released bands have been addressed.

FAQs
Is Celluerase painful?
Most people experience only mild discomfort. A local anesthetic is usually applied to keep the treatment comfortable.
Who is a good candidate for Celluerase?
Celluerase is best suited for people with moderate to severe dimpled cellulite who are in good overall health. A consultation is important to assess if this treatment is right for your skin type and goals.
Can Celluerase be combined with other treatments?
Yes, it can be combined with treatments like skin tightening, body contouring, or lymphatic drainage to enhance overall results.
Are the results permanent?
The fibrous bands released during treatment do not typically return, so results are long-lasting. However, natural aging, weight fluctuations, and lifestyle factors may affect skin texture over time.
Is Celluerase safe?
Yes, when performed by a trained professional. Like all cosmetic treatments, there may be some side effects such as bruising, tenderness, or mild swelling, but these usually resolve within a few days.
