Microneedling

Medical microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that helps with a range of problems, including scars, alopecia, stretch marks, sun damage, and acne. This cost-effective treatment involves using a tiny needle to puncture the skin, triggering a wound response to renew the skin cells. Results can last for 12-18 months.

What is Microneedling?

Derma FNS® is a unique microneedling pen that creates thousands of vertical channels into the skin’s surface to stimulate collagen renewal, providing ultimate rejuvenation, skin tightening and remodelling.

A mechanical injury to the dermis triggers the healing process. Unlike most dermal needling pens, which rely on an outdated spring mechanism, the Derma® FNS pen utilises unique motor technology that fully inserts and retracts the needles before the subsequent insertion. The Derma® FNS is the only known pen that uses this technology. Spring mechanisms usually struggle to keep up with the rapid motor, meaning that with other microneedling products, the needles do not have time to fully retract before reinserting, causing additional damage and trauma to the skin and adding to the downtime.

The Derma® FNS microneedling system has a needle cartridge design that prevents blood from being drawn back into the device, thereby preventing cross-contamination. The microneedling pen causes significantly less surface trauma and bleeding than other leading competitors, providing maximum results with minimal downtime. Most clients find their redness is reduced within a few hours or even minutes, whereas other pens can leave clients with unnecessary redness for up to four days.

Derma® FNS microneedling treatments can address various skin conditions and issues, including skin tightening, lifting and rejuvenation, improving the appearance of acne scars and stretch marks, minimising pore size and improving alopecia.
