What is Liquid Sun Spray Tan?

Liquid Sun provides sun-kissed perfection rich in anti-oxidants, botanical extracts and precious oils of argan, macadamia and coconut.

What's our process?
Step 1
For the most flawless and even result, preparation is key. The day before your appointment, exfoliate your skin thoroughly to remove dead skin cells and create a smooth base for the tan. Shaving or waxing should also be completed at least 24 hours beforehand. On the day of your appointment, avoid wearing deodorant, perfume, makeup, or heavy moisturiser, as these can affect the development of the tan. Wearing loose, dark clothing to your appointment will help protect your developing colour afterwards.
Step 2
When you arrive at Enhance Clinispa in Bolton, your therapist will discuss your desired level of glow and assess your natural skin tone. Whether you prefer a subtle sun-kissed look or a deeper bronzed finish, the shade is customised to suit you. This ensures your tan looks natural, even, and perfectly suited to your complexion and occasion.
Step 3
During the treatment, you will stand in a spray tanning area while a fine mist of tanning solution is evenly applied to the body using professional equipment. The therapist ensures smooth, even coverage, paying careful attention to areas such as hands, feet, and joints for a natural finish. The process usually takes around 15–20 minutes, and you will leave with a temporary guide colour that shows the immediate result.
Step 4
After your appointment, your tan will continue to develop over several hours. You will be advised when to shower, typically between 6–8 hours depending on the formula used. During the development time, avoid water, sweating, or tight clothing. Once rinsed, your full colour will be revealed and can last 5–10 days with proper moisturising and gentle skincare. Regular hydration of the skin will help prolong your radiant, even glow.

Will my skin break out if get a spray tan?
Our tan is made with high content of naturally derived ingredients, so you shouldn’t break out. However if you have sensitive skin our alternative option would be to use our Glow + Self Tan Drops. Just mix with your moisturiser, serum or oil and apply evenly to the face.
How long do the tans last on the skin for?
Our tans can last up to 10 days when used in conjunction with daily application of our Bronzing Custard and hydrating your skin.
How can I keep my tan lasting longer?
We recommend to moisturise every day after your tan has been washed off . To extend your tan even longer, we suggest to add our Bronzing Custard on top. This acts as a tan extender, body moisturiser and a gradual tanner, all in 1.
Is spray tanning safe for pregnant women?
Research does not show any dangers to pregnant women. However, as a precaution we suggest checking with your doctor especially in the first trimester.
What should I wear?
Dark loose clothing is advisable avoiding anything elasticated or has straps.
How should I prepare before my tan?
Skin should be a blank canvas avoiding perfumes, deodorant, moisturisers and make-up. Shaving or any other form of hair removal should be done 24 hours prior to treatment.
